eprofessional carries out survey of 500 users / Even companies ranked as the Best Brands in 2010 cannot be found on Facebook / Not enough brand protection in social media channels
Hamburg, 1st March 2010 – 34% of German online users think that a company not on Facebook has no idea about new media and is living under a rock. For 27%, companies and brands without an official Facebook page or profile in online communities such as Facebook, MySpace or StudiVZ lack relevance. These were the main findings of an online survey* carried out by the performance marketing agency eprofessional. Every tenth online user even suspects that companies with no community presence have something to hide or are afraid of direct dialogue with customers
