Hamburg, November 14th 2011 – insurance companies are missing opportunities on facebook. This becomes especially obvious when you look at the approach to communication and distribution on the topic of car insurances. This is the conclusion of a new study conducted by the social media experts at the performance marketing agency eprofessional. They have analyzed the facebook presence of 20 car insurers in October and only ten of them had their own company site on facebook at the time. The other nine have so-called community pages that are automatically generated by facebook, supplied with content from Wikipedia and Admiral Direkt is not on facebook at all.
